Business Development Specialists throughout the U.S. We provide instructor-led training for Microsoft, Cisco,
Unity 3D, Blue Coat, VMware, CompTIA, Six Sigma, Cyber Security, Leadership and Coaching and many

Job Description

The Business Development Specialist (BDS) targets B2B accounts in selected territories. The position entails a
geographical and account base structure. This particular role is a relationship building sales position which
requires regular phone prospecting, sales forecasting, pipeline management, management accountability and
superior follow-up and customer service skills. Force7 utilizes a consultative selling approach with all prospects
and customers to understand needs, requirements and to achieve buy-in. The BDS position is a home-based
sales position. This position entails identifying opportunities.

Job Duties:

• Identify new opportunities for business with new clients via phone

• Track all sales efforts, opportunities and results using Excel spreadsheet template

• Follow-up periodically with customer to identify future needs and support

• Master the information presented during sales meetings

• Continually learn new product and industry knowledge and improve selling skills through multiple training
channels

• Meet minimum standards of 25-40 hours of phone prospecting per week

• Start with 200 minimum account base

Requirements

• Excellent phone skills

• Two year’s minimum inside sales experience

• Ability to make 50 calls per day minimum

• Communication and organization skills

• Strong work ethic, great attitude,
flexibility and ownership mindedness

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Competitive nature, goal-oriented and desire to earn large sales commissions

• Training industry experienced preferred but will consider related industry background

• Bachelor’s degree, college student or passionate individual who desires to be successful
