Job Description

Automatic Laundry is currently seeking a full time Account Sales Representative living in the Massachusetts/Connecticut region who hunts new business while bringing a consultative approach. This position is responsible for business development, building and maintaining contacts in the apartment and condominium industry, setting up new account information, generating leads, revisiting old leads, and resolving customer issues.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Selling community laundry services to large and small property owners, property management companies and condominium boards.
• Direct selling to outside prospects and customers primarily through face-to-face and meeting with decision makers (property owners and property managers) in the field.
• Experience in proposing on projects and overseeing logistics in the field.
• Generate sales leads and obtain referrals from current customers.
• Contact, visit and service current customers frequently to ensure quality of service received and generate additional sales.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years previous commercial or B2b Sales experience.
• Strong financial acumen and sales skills with a track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
• Experience competing against national companies a plus.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication and organization skills.
• Highly motivated, energetic self-starter.
• Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft applications.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
