Job Description

Do you have an innovative spirit, passion for sales and dedicated work ethic? Bright Horizons is searching for a motivated and hardworking Business Development/Lead Generation Specialist to help develop new relationships, cultivate and prospect leads and drive business to continue growth for Bright Horizons’ services.

As the Business Development/Lead Generation Specialist, you will focus on generating leads and setting meetings with customers through phone calls, email campaigns, and other lead generation strategies. Success will be measured by the number of qualified first time appointments set up that result in sales opportunities and, ultimately, new deals! In other words, this is a crucial role that will facilitate the continued growth of the sales team and the organization in general.

What you will be doing:

• Focus will be on qualifying inbound leads and cold calling prospects to schedule first time appointments
• Record all information accurately in CRM database as well as any other pipeline management tools
• Meet all company Service Level Agreements for lead follow up
• Maintain positive relationships with prospects and customers
• Articulate Bright Horizons value proposition to prospects both verbally and in written communications.
• Serve as a resource to Client Services VPs and sales staff in locating relevant materials to support prospecting activities.
• Build strong cross functional relationships, especially with sales and marketing teams and Participate in on-going sales and product trainings

Requirements

• BS/BS degree required, MBA preferred
• 1+ year of experience in sales or marketing
• Ability to modulate message, tone, and content of presentations based on role and level of client contact(s).
• Demonstrated ability to drive prospecting results with large / F500 companies.
• High degree of computer literacy and experience with salesforce.com spreadsheets, database software, and other business software.
• Ability to communicate the values and mission of Bright Horizons and full range of services we offer.
• Strong cross functional skills
