Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the sale of all StoneMor products and/or services in a defined geographic region through assigned Sales Counselors; Responsible for ensuring Company policies are adhered to while directing and implementing the company goals to achieve profitable sales growth in assigned locations; Supports regional sales force in hiring, termination, compensation, promotions, contests, reviews, sales meetings, contracts, pricing policies, training, etc.

What You’ll Do:
• Ensure the attainment of sales goals by overseeing production at location and providing direction to staff
• Provide direction in the hiring, promotion, and training of assigned staff, ensuring company policies are adhered to
• Provide new hire and ongoing training of all assigned sales staff to ensure the best possible results from presentations to current and potential customers
• Communicate with Administration, Maintenance and Area Management to ensure seamless support of location needs
• Daily reviews of prior day’s results and appointments to provide recommendations on issues
• Assign all Family Service employees on a regular or rotating basis, ensuring coverage at all times.
• Ensure staff is providing at-need clients with all services and products available
• Provide outstanding leadership to direct, evaluate and increase the skill level of the sales organization within defined region
• To ensure with all field personnel the fulfillment of StoneMor’s mission: “To Help Families Memorialize Every Life with Dignity.”
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management


What You’ll Need:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Three or more years of direct experience in sales and management, preferably in the B2C industry
• Demonstrated track record as an independent, top performing hunter and closer who exceeds revenue goals
• Possess a positive attitude, be coachable, insightful, energetic and a great problem solver
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and train sales personnel
• Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with others in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to develop new and effective methods of increasing sales in a competitive environment
• Ability to handle performance issues
• Ability to handle employee relations issues

Base Comp. $40,000.00
Total Comp. $60,000.00
