Our client is an established and growing distributor of CNC Machine Tools. They have offices throughout the U.S. and are the go-to partner for metal-cutting manufacturers across the country. They are actively growing their sales force and are looking for talented individuals with industry experience to bring their expertise in the space to help lead the charge.

Job Description

• Ensure complete sales territory coverage, fully documented in CRM.
• Sales team assessment and development, and hiring where appropriate
• Maintain ongoing assessment of the sales leadership to ensure that each sales person is operating to their full potential and that all opportunities are maximized.
• Development and implement appropriate sales strategies to meet the needs of the varied markets in the Chicago market
• Maintain a book of business and meet individual sales goals, while being responsible that each team member is held accountable to their daily, weekly and monthly goals as well.
• Increase market share while meeting financial performance metrics
• Drive and organize monthly marketing events – demo days, lunch and learn type events
• Manage an appropriate book of business


• 5-10 years relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of CNC manufacturing and sales techniques
• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills as well as be a team player and enjoy helping others succeed.
• Strong demonstrated leadership skills with an emphasis in team building and performance management.
• Strong initiative, competitive nature and strong goal orientation.
• Must have excellent attention to detail
