Job Description

As the Inside Sales Manager, you will lead a team of highly talented quotations specialists to drive growth and shape the future of this Division. Your responsibilities will include executing pricing strategies, driving revenue, ensuring profitability, and market penetration. This is a high visibility position, located at the division headquarters, which will lead critical interactions with internal (Sales, Finance, IT, Marketing, etc.) and external (manufacturing representatives, distributors, OEM’s) customers to help deliver a world class level of service.

Team Management:
Manage and motivate at least 10 employees, to ensure high-quality service is consistently provided at all times
Set clear and smart team objectives and evaluate performance against those objectives using the annual performance review process.
Coach and develop employees to build skills within the pricing organization
Build relationships with internal departments to provide and receive feedback on inside sales process
Maintain current awareness of market pricing trends and communicate recommended product-specific price level adjustments
Resolve escalations of pricing negotiations that occur between customers and the inside sales team

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is required
Minimum 5 years of professional work experience is required
Minimum 2 years Inside Sales experience is required
Minimum 2 years experience leading a team of people is required
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographical area (within 50 miles) of Highland, IL will be considered for this position

Position Criteria:
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to effectively interact with both internal and external customers via phone, e-mail and other written and verbal communication mediums.
