Job Description

Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Business Development/Sales professional in the healthcare industry now available! Working remotely in Chicagoland, we seek someone who will lead conferences, sponsorship and events sales initiatives from inception to final delivery for one of our prestigious healthcare clients. This role is responsible for generating revenue through the sales of sponsorship and exhibit packages - exp. handling account management, business development, market research, sales prospecting, customer relationship management, revenue management and communications is a must! • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals as an individual contributor.
• Successful experience building a territory
• Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
• High proficiency in using CRM software to manage pipeline and track customers (ie. Goldmine, Salesforce, ____________ )
• Bachelor Degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Willing to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Work is remote, but the candidate must be Chicagoland-based.
• Business related computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Association and/or Trade Show Management Experience preferred.
