Vice President of Sales - Start-Up | Cyber Security

Our client is an award winning and rapidly growing startup in the Cyber Security Software Space. Since 2015 they have simplified security for large organizations and have experienced triple digit growth year after year. They are in hypergrowth mode and are looking for their first VP of Sales to grow and ramp the sales team, which is a mix of industry veterans.

Job Description

The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for overseeing, mentoring and scaling the sales organization (currently 7 reps)
The Vice President of Sales will establish metrics and key performance indicators for the sales team, while building a scaleable recruitment and training program.
The Vice President of Sales will report to the CEO and work directly with leadership, a team of cyber security industry veterans on strategy, go to market and headcount.

Location: Reporting daily to a Waltham, MA office; travel as needed


Requirements

7+ years of leadership experience along with working closely on deals with a junior sales team
Looking for a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality, player-coach experience and collaborative personality
Cyber Security experience is a must
Must have start-up experience

Total Comp. $300,000.00
