Boston, MA – Our Client is an international leader in the Robotics space. They specialize in creating innovative and robust scientific instruments for underwater measurements. Their portfolio of products has a wide application base from commercial industries such as Oil & Gas, to private Military and Government accounts, as well as Research Institutions and Universities. They are growing their North American salesforce and looking for a Director of Sales to lead their Boston-based organization!

Job Description

• The Director of Sales will be responsible for overseeing the US and Canada sales team, based in Boston. They will be focused on maintaining, mentoring, and growing the sales team
• The Director of Sales will have full P&L responsibilities, and be tasked with forecasting, budgeting and planning for all of North America operations
• The Director of Sales will be a first line leadership position, working closely with the leadership team which is based internationally.

Requirements

• 2+ Years of Direct Sales Management
• 5-15 Years of Total Sales Experience in a Technical Sales Environment
• Must have a Technical Aptitude and Interest in Robotics, Sensors, Drones, Instrumentation, etc.
• Bachelor of Science Degree Required; Master’s Degree Preferred

Location: Reporting daily to a Boston, MA office; Travel: 35% National; 5% International
